During church on Saturday night, I was touched by the message. Harvest made a point of reaching out to Haiti, and making that part of our compassion ministry, but rather than just giving to any organization, our offerings would go directly to the church in Haiti. My heart was and still is breaking for the people in Haiti, and the disaster that has occurred, but I suddenly felt at ease, knowing that this was all a part of God's bigger plan. That He had is all under control. Robbie talked about although during this time of devastation, people in Haiti were praising God in the center of all this. Just singing praise to our God! Incredible! I couldn't even imagine this, but it rang such truth. Why don't we praise God in times of disaster, why are we so quick to make it all about ourselves, and not about Him?
Pray for Haiti, and Love Everyday.
